Elizabeth transfer from Active duty to reserve status in the Fall of 2021. Her promotion History is listed below 2nd Lieutenant- 2005 1st Lieutenant- 2007 Captain- 2009 Major- 2014 Lieutenant Colonel- 2019 In the Winter of 2021 after transferring from active duty to reserve she announced to seek the republican nomination for US senate, in a very crowded race she was seen at first as not a serious candidate but was able to make to secure the nomination due to the last minute dropout from Mo Brooks in which on the run off vote between Elizabeth and Katie Britt she was able to secure the nomination with a victory vote of 2,000 votes. She was elected to the senate in November 2022 and sworn in as a senator in January 2023. She was assigned to the following committees Senate Armed Services - Emerging Threats and Capabilities -Strategic Forces Senate Homeland Security -Investigations Senate Select Commitee on Intelligence Elizabeth time in the senate has been described as one who is a background operator working behind the scenes and trying to advance more hawkish and nationalist positions within the study committee and sometimes. Elizabeth personal life has been one of not much with her never been married or any known partner that has been show to the public eye. But people have seen her office staff being one of close-knit staff with most of her permeant full staff being former subordinates she led back in the air force.
