Kayley Brennan is a businesswoman and progressive Democratic politician from Cleveland, OH. She currently serves as a State Senator from Cleveland, but before politics, her career was in business and charity work. Brennan has a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Human Resources, a degree she leveraged to eventually found her own human resources management firm. She also founded a labor rights watchdog group with other like-minded activists called "Just Business", which aimed to hold large and small employers alike accountable for the health, safety, and wellbeing of their employees. After Just Business closed its doors, she founded a charity that aimed to help struggling young women access reproductive health materials and procedures, find employment, and secure access to safe and affordable housing called Help for Her - Cleveland. Help for Her - Cleveland also served as an advocacy and activist organization, but did not make campaign contributions or endorsements to avoid legal trouble. Help for Her was primarily financed through grants, both public and private, though Brennan also funded much of the group's needs herself. Brennan identifies as a progressive Democrat, having been active with the local Democratic Party for many years. Eventually, she ran for and won an open State Senate seat based in Cleveland, prioritizing women's rights, education, civil rights, access to healthcare, and affordable housing. Recently, she announced her run for Governor of Ohio. -

Nancy Lopez is a progressive state representative from the Los Angeles metropolitan area in California. She is 28, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from UCLA as well as a Master’s in Women’s Studies. During college, she organized with many fellow progressive and feminist activists to demand greater equality in pay, increased access to birth control, and fewer barriers to reproductive health. She also organized in favor of immigrants’ rights. After college, she worked for several advocacy non-profits before founding Her Voice, a local advocacy group in LA focused on the rights of marginalized women. In 2020, she ran an insurgent campaign against the incumbent Democratic State House member. Her campaign emphasized racial equity, anti-discrimination, and women’s rights. She won in an upset and went on the serve in the California House of Representatives as a Democrat.
